Looking across Red Hat larger ecosystem there are several inconsistent designs which makes the experience of navigating from a product to docs to customer portal feel disjointed. Since it's inception PatternFly has been its own design system separate from RH branding. Over recent years PatternFly has been working to align more closely with the Red Hat brand. This epic to create a new Red Hat theme shows our commitment to delivering a single unified design system.
Objectives (no breaking changes)
Reference RHDS tokens to use Red Hat primary colours for interactive elements
Consider density in layouts (Product vs marketing)
Future considerations
Test branded images for empty states
Test new Red Hat icons in product mocks
This work will be a collaboration with the Red Hat Design System team and will help us realize the future of design at Red Hat.
