Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Just like that seafood restaurant makes.

Additional Stats

  • Gluten Free

Hardware

  • Baking sheet
  • Large bowl or stand mixer

Software

  • Gluten Free Bisquick (1.75 cup)
  • Salt (0.5 teaspoon)
  • Baking Powder (0.5 teaspoon)
  • Butter (5 tablespoons, cold)
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded (1 cup)
  • Milk (1 cup)
  • Roasted Garlic (To taste, up to 1 full head)

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, sift together Bisquick flour, salt, and baking powder
  2. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add milk, cheddar, and garlic. Stir to combine.

Cooking

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F
  2. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray or cover with parchment paper
  3. Spoon out ~1.5" balls onto sheet
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned

Notes

  • Mixture keeps well refrigerated to be baked in small batches.
  • Best served hot out of the oven or reheated if you must.
