Use mouse movement or coordinates instead of dragging?

Hello, there is a way to control the animation using the mouse position/movement and not dragging?
I'm not an advanced programmer, maybe there are a few couple of code lines that can tell the cursor coordinates to control if the image es spinning to the left or to the right.
