Standalone version of expandable TextArea

I am looking for a standalone module. I don't need the complete sms view package, just a simple and effective way to integrate expandable textarea.

This is not going to happen anytime soon, as I do not have the time to do it. But if you look at the code, it should not be too hard to separate one thing from the other.

Just like Danny, I would like to have a standalone expandable textarea module. I have an appcelerator app that works similar to Instagram's comments module. It would be nice if I could incorporate your way of doing expandable textarea.
