When creating a 3 node PXC cluster I'm using the "estimated available" as a guide for what I can create.
In my current config i'm seeing I have 10.52 CPU's available, 96.xxx GB of RAM available and 2TB of disk available. So to make it all fit I am thinking whatever I request will be consumed 3x (for each pxc node). I tried to create a 3CPU/16GB RAM PXC node which failed to schedule all pods due to out of CPU/RAM, I tried to create a 2CPU/16GB RAM PXC node that failed to schedule due to out of CPU/RAM I was finally able to create a 1CPU/12GB RAM PXC node and all PXC/HAProxy pods finally started.
That makes the "hint' all but pointless if I'm getting no indication that what I'm requesting is doomed to fail immediately.
