This repo has 76% of CSS and only 12% of Ruby. Dafuq???
Thank you, Mr. Bootstrap, we appreciate this, Mrs. jQuery.

What about a custom install script that downloads all this shiny stuff?

Download bootstrap? That's not a good idea because bootstrap is under active development. It's preferable to carry everything by ourselves in order to be able to clone and run as fast as possible.
