Guidance when interpreting outputs

Objects in the output

  • Omega1 -- Spatial variation in encounter probability
  • Epsilon1 -- Spatio-temporal variation (i.e., spatial variation that varies among years) in encounter probability
  • Omega2 -- Spatial variation in catch rates given an encounter
  • Epsilon2 -- Spatio-temporal variation (i.e., spatial variation that varies among years) in catch rates given an encounter
