I was using the login with cookies (manual cookie method) with a proxy and it had been working fine up until about a month ago, when it started giving the Syntax Error.
At first I got a new cookie from instagram and used it in the app, but it didn't help.
So I thought maybe it was due to IP which I also changed to a new IP. Didn't help either (
It either results with Please login with instagram credentials or Syntax Error now.

Is there anything I can try?

When taking a new cookie from Instagram I noticed that it was asking some new question with a popup, which I had to bypass. Can't remember what it was exactly.
