Hey, first thank you your work on the color scheme it is awesome.
I noticed this behavior when I was writing a commit message and enabled the spell function, this only happens with misspelled words that happen to have the red (magenta?) foreground color, either running vim inside/outside tmux with alacritty. I have not tested this in other terminal emulators.
How it looks when running inside tmux:
Even if polyglot is removed the colors remain (outside tmux):
