This might be related to encoding or filename issues that Phoenix Code doesn't yet handle perfectly on macOS. If you can help us reproduce it with your setup or a sample file, we can get this fixed quickly. could you please share the following info?
What is the encoding of the file? (e.g. UTF-8, UTF-16, ANSI, etc.)
Does the file name contain any non-English, Unicode, or special characters? (e.g., emojis, Chinese etc.) Example: config_日本語.json
What is the full file path? Are there any spaces, symbols, or Unicode characters in the folder names? Example: /Users/john/Downloads/test file/config.json
Does the problem happen with:
This helps us understand which code path is being triggered. Thanks for helping. |

Hi,
Anyone else come across this problem? Phoenix Code on Mac won't open imported JSON files. I have to open in Brackets and then re-save them. Then Phoenix code reads them just fine.
