Never mind, I think I’ve answered my own Q… {{ states('xxxxx’) }}. In the effect field. I think the HA documentation is a little bit confusing for n00bs, needs more examples. |

Hi guys/gals. I have a Mushroom: Select card using a Drop-down Helper with 16 different effect names for a Nanoleaf Shapes light kit. How would I go about setting the effect name in the Light.turn.on service? My thought is to create an automation that is triggered when the Drop-down Helper is changed, but I am unsure how to populate the “effect” section of the service with the current value of the Helper object. Many thanks in advance.
