Every caption of a table (or figure) should start with a capital letter, and should end with a period. References to tables are given with a capital letter for table, as in ``(see Table~\ref{tab:EXAMPLETABLE})'' or ``in Table~\ref{tab:EXAMPLETABLE}, ...''.
