PyRTMA should have better support for Request - Reply messaging patterns. Currently, it is possible to achieve this kind of functionality using Publish - Subscribe patterns with appropriate handlers in either module, but this is tedious.
Example use case: Data visualization module requests equipment configuration information from an experiment control module.
