How do you 'undev' a directory?

I updated to pkgx 2.0 and ran dev within a project directory and it created the 'virtual environment'. It's not stated anywhere on the website or the readme of this repo how to undo this. How do I remove the 'virtual environment' for a directory so it's not being tracked by pkgx or dev anymore?
