We have no idea, at the moment, how many versions of comments Reddit is keeping. Common wisdom and general sense is "none" but I imagine that as more folks attempt to clean up and wipe their accounts that will change.
I'd love to implement a multi-pass delete at some point. So this is the issue for that.

Interesting. I no longer have an account to test with... but I did multiple (4) edit passes before closing my accounts.
I did not use it to delete my comments altogether though.
Edit: I went back to check a comment I was sure I edited in my first pass (about a week ago), and it was still edited. I do wonder if they're reverting single-pass deletes.
With the original PDS you wouldn't get an error on the rate-limited behaviour for editing/deletion. That's how I went looking for @leeola 's fork. PDS would report 4000 comments edited but only one here and there would be actually edited.
Thanks for reminding me, i archived mine as i have no intention of maintaining it. I just wanted to quickly hack it to get working haha. The amount of people forking it was surprising though, heh.
Fwiw, mine appear still edited. But i specifically edited, not deleted.
