Make 'Country' field optional for Authors / Contributors

Currently, the Country field is a mandatory field when adding contributors. However, in some cases, this information may not be relevant or required. I would like to request the option to make the Country field optional for contributors.

This feature would provide greater flexibility for users and reduce the need for unnecessary data input when it is not essential.

Hey @alvarosaco, thanks for the suggestion. I agree that this would be a good addition to the plugin.

Could you share a bit more about some of the use cases you have for not wanting to or not having an author country to include? I can imagine many very good reasons, but I'd like to consider this carefully as the rest of OJS assumes a country will be present, and not including one could have unintended consequences for downstream services that make use of OJS metadata.
