Describe the bug

Special episodes of shows, considered as Season 0 or Specials in Jellyfin, are not displayed in the season selection list.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have a show with a Season 1 and a Season 0 (example: an anime)
  2. Go to the show’s page
  3. Below the actors, click on Season 1 to display the season selection list
  4. No Season 0 or Specials

Expected behavior

A Season 0 or Specials selectable item appears above or below the other seasons; by clicking it, the special episodes of the show are displayed.

Search for "episode" in Blink, which finds episodes from various shows containing a Season 0 (but only because their names contain "episode"):

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows
  • Version 1.0.0-alpha.3
  • Jellyfin Version 10.10.3

Additional context

The episodes are still searchable by name or with s0, which still makes them appear but is not ideal: in the first case we have to know the name of the episode, and in the second case, episodes in a season with two digits also match s0 (e.g. S03E02).

I have not checked Jellyfin’s or Blink’s behaviour with a show having only special episodes to see if the show appeared at all.

On a small note (but it would need its own issue), it would be cool having Enter triggering search after entering text in the search box, even though it’s easy to just hit Tab and then Enter or Space. Other than that, great application, truly modern and effective!
