In our training courses, we now use a live USB. We need a documentation section to refer people to, with:

A pointer to some image they can use to check if their laptop works
Hints on how to boot from USB
Hints on troubleshooting common situations in, e.g., Windows laptops

(yes, there is documentation about this out there, but we need an entry point to include in our preparation instructions)
