Yanking a version of a package

Problem description

Is it possible to deprecate or yank a specific package version so it can still be installed with a warning but not found by searching a channel? This is useful if the package is broken in some major way or has a security vulnerability.

Just deleting the package will break builds which, while effectiv, is not very graceful.
