We've had some folks inquire about how to filter on multiple programs when facet filtering. This is not possible via the GUI. However, it can be done via the query parameters in the URL. Here's an example:

https://etda.libraries.psu.edu/?f_inclusive%5Bprogram_name_ssi%5D%5B%5D=Statistics&f_inclusive%5Bprogram_name_ssi%5D%5B%5D=Mathematics

Consider finding a way to get blacklight to do these types of queries via the GUI.

I'm just now noticing that there is in fact an advanced search. There is just no link to it in the UI:

https://etda.libraries.psu.edu/catalog/advanced

This can be used to formulate these queries. We should add a link to advanced search.

@jrpatterson Do you know if there was any reason why we didn't include a link to the advanced search?

@ajkiessl I checked with Andrew and he didn't know why it wasn't included. I say we try it out

The builtin advanced search is not working properly right now. Looks like this is a blacklight issue: projectblacklight/blacklight#3042
