Weekly Community Check-In #132 - A healthier world #10743
Comments
Well said and kudos to your efforts towards environmental conservation @sakshi-2412! ✨ |
Glad to hear that @mittal-parth 🎉🎉 |
Thanks for this really nice theme @sakshi-2412 I really appreciate it. I've been aiming to use as many natural materials as possible in my art practice - plain wood, paper, etc instead of plastics and synthetics. It's better for our health as well! ❤️ 🎉 🌲 |
wow that is awesome 🎉🎉😮 @jywarren |
I try to avoid plastic or reuse it as much as possible, plastic is its a real problem here in Kenya 🤦 Thanks @sakshi-2412 for the check-in ❤️ |
Would anyone like to open next week's check-in? |
@cesswairimu That's very considerate of you 🤗✨✨ |
Moved to #10764. Thanks everyone |
Hi everybody! 👏
We all at Public Lab 🎈 - learn, grow, work, brainstorm ideas, contribute together so why not share about our weekly goals and the awesome work we have done at Public Lab with each other, so we can support and collaborate with each other better. We have a Community Check-In each week, where every community member can share something about their work from the past week and about their current week's goal 🎯 . You are also welcome to share fun-fact 😄 , new ideas 💡 , your learning goals ☑️.
We believe in collaborative efforts to support our community. We are running a learning platform which helps a newcomer to become a leader of tomorrow. 💯
A healthier world
Have you ever been to a walk on a quiet road with tall trees and a cold breeze? And felt that humans are the happiest when they are in touch with nature⭐
As we all know, Public Lab believes in environmental justice. In schools, we used to write essays about different ways to help our environment at an individual level. But how much of that do we follow? I have adopted some small practices from my side. A few of them are - reducing the usage of air conditioners as much as possible, making sure to give used papers and electronic waste to a recycling shop, and avoiding clothes made from synthetic fibres.
What do you do for your bit in saving the environment? We would love to hear your thoughts😊
Thank you note
