Assign series to authors

Hi, I'm using your free series plugin for a client's site, and this is supposed to be a community site for multiple authors to submit content. We started using your plugin to allow authors to group their episodic content into folders. However, it looks from my admin side that all the folders are open to all the authors for addition of their own content. Is it possible to allow users by default to limit the addition of content to series to only themselves or assign series to specific users to use unless they opt to make their series open to other users voluntarily? Or is this a Pro version question?
