With the addition of recent fixtures with module metadata, several of the older RPM fixtures can be dropped.

Not if they are used for old branches that are still supported.

edit: This is the main reason why we want to have the fixtures versioned in git with the plugin using them.

We would update the tests on the older branches. The new tests are more comprehensive.
