I am trying to solve a discharge followed by a relaxation on an NMC half cell, using a custom model (some variant of the DFN that I am testing). I am setting the discharge rate by imposing a current density at the current collector.
Is there a way to do this without using pybamm's experiment feature? For example, to have the BC at the current collector to be 50 A/m2 whilst voltage is above 2.7 V, and then 0 A/m2 for 1hr once it drops below 2.7 V.
When I tried using the experiment feature, pybamm asks me for a nominal cell capacity. I am aware this is used to convert between C-rate and current, but I don't see why this conversion should be needed for my simulation. Even when I input a value for nominal cell capacity in the params dictionary I still get this error. Nonetheless, I would prefer to code it more explicitly if possible, rather than using the experiment feature (I'm not exactly sure what is going on under the hood there).

Hi,
I am trying to solve a discharge followed by a relaxation on an NMC half cell, using a custom model (some variant of the DFN that I am testing). I am setting the discharge rate by imposing a current density at the current collector.

Cheers,
Isaac
