Files written by pygac-fdr can't be read with recent version of xarray:

ValueError: Failed to decode variable 'equator_crossing_time': unable to decode
    time units 'seconds since 1970-01-01 00:00:00' with "calendar 'standard'".
    Try opening your dataset with decode_times=False or installing cftime if it is not
    installed.
