Unusually long wait time when bookmarking a page

Hi, I know this addon isn't getting much attention anymore, but I just wanted to document some trouble I've been experiencing.
Sometimes, usually after bookmarking another page, when going to bookmark another page, there is a long wait time and sometimes a fatal error that occurs. This happens both with and without the custom bookmarking UI enabled, and I have yet to find a way to speed it up. The wait is usually a solid 10-15 seconds.

i'm experiencing a similar problem. sometimes the bookmarks open fine, but sometimes it does open a new tab with the correct container, but the page itself seems to be loading forever and cannot resolve.
