The worst part is that the lyrics they sell are mostly added by volunteers.

Let's wait for the official statement. But if the lyrics are indeed no longer available for free, what are our options?

1. Find a way to keep scraping lyrics with a free account (very unlikely).
2. Find a premium account. Honestly, I WOULD even pay for one, but they just won't take my money ¯\(ツ)/¯
3. Migrate to another lyrics source. lrclib.net looks promising, and that's what my friends use at Harmonoid.

Oh so THAT's why sptlrx stopped working, well, best of luck sorting it out. Corpos are getting unpredictably greedy...
Solution-wise I think option 3 is the most long-term feasible option.

I'm not sure how long has it been but I just noticed I have the full lyrics back for free!
All in all, I like LRCLIB better, so I hope for it to be available on sptlrx real soon!
