Check a single link

Muffet is wonderful for checking all links on a page/site - but I have a need to check only a given link, not all the links on the page that's loaded.

Sure, I could use curl/HTTP GET/etc, but muffet handles loading things better and I'd like to keep all link checking with the same tool (we use muffet site-wide). Can we have an option to only check the supplied URL?

isn't that basically what --one-page-only ?

From the help menu, "Only check links found in the given URL"

That checks all the links on the page that's returned from the link I supplied; not just the link I supplied.
