[Mozilla Firefox] "New Tab" command not working

Description

"New Tab" command not working: Unable to open an empty new tab or search in a new tab.

Other commands are working.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Open "New Tab" command
2. Press "Enter" to open new tab OR type a search string and press "Enter" to search

Current Behaviour

New tab is not opened in Firefox

Expected Behaviour

New tab is opened in Firefox (with a search if search string was entered)
