Once start time is edited, the clock stops

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I opened the time tracker after task has already begun
2. while the timer is running, I went to edit the start time
3. Hit "Ok" and it recorded a stop time... while my project is still happening. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
it should not stop the timer until the user actually hits "stop" 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?  Intel
or PPC computer?
newly downloaded on August 1, 2012. On an Mac OS 10.7.4
