It seems the old rdfa.info site code and test suite were public domain. However, this repo is MPL-2.0 licensed (i.e. file-based copyleft).

Would it be possible to either a) switch back to the public domain + dedication or b) switch to something more liberally licensed such as the MIT, BSD-3-Clause, ISC, or Apache-2.0?

Thanks!

Test suite should definitely be W3C. I (re)wrote the crazyivan runner, and am happy for it to be PD or anything else more suitable. Otherwise, I say we license similar to json-ld.org

@gkellogg would you like some PRs to put the licenses / declarations in the appropriate places?

Note that, I don't think this repo ever went live, because I never got the JavaScript-based test suite running. You probably need to file against rdfa-website.

@gkellogg I can't as that repo's been archived... 🙁 I've submitted a PR to this one for some tweaks and improvements #22, and would like to help more here if I may.

What's needed for the JS-based test suite? Maybe file another issue for that, and I can help (hopefully) to get that running.

@BigBlueHat the problem was, at the time, that rdfjs SPARQL wasn’t handling ASK properly, so couldn’t determine if results were correct or not.

I had forgotten where we left it, but it does seem that RDFa.info does pull from this site, or simply points to gh-pages now, and the test suite not working is not the end of the world at this point.
