React 18 Podcast season?

Hey friends!

While out on vacation, I was thinking of ways that I might uniquely help these React 18 community efforts. Naturally, a podcast season came to mind.

(Note: After 123 episodes, React Podcast has been on pause since the beginning (after Spec Network closed). But I have some folks interested in funding the production of a season)

Concept

• 18 episodes, 20-30m each
• each ep. covers a single topic relevant to React 18 features, migration, practices, framework implementation, or discussion around API design
• each ep. features a different member of reactwg

My goal is to increase familiarity with changes, upgrade tactics, terminology, and reactwg members.

I could propose the list of topics and let the group decide who might be best suited to discuss each. I am delighted to speak with any-and-everyone.

I think React 18 specific podcast could be very helpful and interesting for folk. In terms of timing did you have a particular stage in the React 18 release cycle in mind? React 18 is currently in Library Alpha but there may be quite a few moving parts between now and General Availability.

Below is the release timeline from #9

Library Alpha: Available today
Public Beta: At least several months
Release Candidate (RC): At least several weeks after Beta
General Availability: At least several weeks after RC

My thinking was that we could publish on the 18 weeks from 9/2 to 12/30.

In content terms, my goal is to showcase the stories of the work, discussions, and members of reacwg. With that focus, pre-release is preferable. My hope is that the series could further support the intent of the working group by showcasing members and their contributions.

Definitely open to a post-release episodes too. Though I do try to keep API-summary episodes to one or two.
