Description of issue

When I navigate back to the map after tapping the stage / event card on the map, the tab bar takes 1/2 second or so to appear.

Expected behaviour

I'd expect the tab bar to appear immediately

Steps to reproduce

List the exact steps you took to arrive at the issue.

Navigate to Parade > Map
Tap on stage icon
Stage card appears
Tap on stage card
Stage details page appears
Tap back (<) button
Observe tab bar doesn't appear immediately

List all the devices and browsers effected, with specific version numbers.

Jun's iPhone X

If it's a visual bug, please provide screenshots or screen captures.

When testing this on my iPhone 6s against master (Beta) I do not get this. Not sure if this has gone away now that we changed the behavior of the map when focuse/unfocused. Could you please retest and report back if it does not work as expected?

@JunBadger Could you take a look at this as we saw it on your phone?

So the lag taken for the tab to reappear has stopped occurring but I now see an unexpected issue whereby:

  • navigate to parade tab
  • tap on an event pin
  • tap on the event card
  • Quickly tap the chevron back
  • Map does not show

Does anyone know if this is recorded anywhere? @AndreiDanielIonescu have you seen this?
