Not sure if you got your answer yet, but it sort of seems like that chip regulates the PWM for the laser or the spindle. It's just a guess, but that's what I think it might be. |
mmm i don't think so.. the pin mapping doesn't line up, and there's no need for a dedicated PWM IC, as it's created by the micro-controller... I'm wondering if it's not like a dual package mosfet or something... but i'm not sure, i've never seen VCC on pin 2 in an 8pin package before... Wonder if it was mis-measured shrugs |
