respeaker 2 mic hat on raspberry pi 3b is not working with snowboy wake word detection

i've been trying to make respeaker working with snowboy . each and every time i failed to make wakeword detection work . recording is working fine with 2channel 16000 khz . but snowboy needs it in mono . i tried to record using pyaudio in mono i only get was white noise but in the case of stereo recording it was crystal clear .i dont know what to do next . can someone help me out ?.i can provide any files or logs what ever it needs to solve this issue .
