Could not find information on 'newvegas'

I'm trying to install MO2 to mod and replay New Vegas, but I'm getting an error popup with the text "Could not find information on 'newvegas'" or "Could not find information on 'newvegas_ru'" (I tried both options, I'm not Russian but I do have the Russian version of the game on Steam for... complicated reasons really)

The terminal output is
