I am trying to use a loudness control VST in Lighthost to control the sound coming from the PC (VAIO). I have seen other people use that exact setup and plugin (LoudMax) on Youtube.

The test in the settings works through the patch insert in Voicemeeter, but any other sound does not pass trough the plugin. This can be seen in the plugin, as there are no reactions in the meeters, and there is no sound.

Since the test works, I am out of ideas.

I have also tried other minimal host apps like NanoHost, and other plugins like Youlean Loudness Meter, and the same problem exists there, too.

Anyone with an idea what else I could be doing wrong?

I think you can only have 1 input and 1 output checked.
Also, activate the relevant patch inserts in voice meeter.

Perfect thanks, I was trying to activate it on Input 1 and 2 at the same time and wasn't having any luck, appreciate your response.
