My users often make few days long reservations. System works perfectly, until some unkind people make long reservations and forget about them.
As for now, unused reservations are detected only after the reservations has ended. For long reservations this results in as much as days of wasted GPU reservation time.
Proposition
It would be great if 'Average GPU utilization' was calculated and displayed not only for completed reservations, but also for ongoing reservations. It could be measured as if the reservation end time was 'now' instead of real reservation end time, or in some other way, allowing to check if the user actively uses reserved GPUs or not.
With such an indicator, my users and I could easily and quickly identify people who waste resources and don't use their reserved GPUs.
