Sorry for posting a bug this way; I figure the developers here probably have some of the best knowledge on this topic.

I'm wondering, is it conceivable that a proxy/alternative Tuya service provider could be created? I want to eliminate their ecosystem completely; is the registration/key-exchange/negotiation protocol known? I shouldn't need to get keys from Tuya's developer platform... to what extent has this been reverse engineered? And how unstable is the protocol?
