Status of the library

It's a very interesting piece of software, but the fact that the last commit was made in December 2020 worries me a bit. Is this actively maintained? :)

We developed another library for inter-process communication https://github.com/google/eDistantObject, which is actively maintained. We referenced some techniques from peertalk during the early development. Feel free to check it out :-)
