However, the text says "Together, the vectors x and y describe a set of 10 points."

This issue is both on 2014 book, as well as, online - https://rstudio-education.github.io/hopr/packages.html#library
When I checked the 'Errata,' I see that this issue was raised in 2019, as is still under the heading "Unconfirmed Errata."

I understand it would be difficult to amend the book in 2014, unless you choose to republish. It will be easier to amend the online version.
I assume it should be typo, still I would request you to please clarify. This will bring peace to my mind. Thanks.
