Per directory custom workflows

We have a monorepo with many environments.

Some environments are self-contained so the traditional init/plan/apply workflow works fine. We do use custom workflows though because of some customizations.

But we have a few environments using auto.tfvars and then this custom workflow breaks. We would have to use a different workflow for those directories because they need to be initialized with a different backend configuration file.

Is there a way to achieve this in Atlantis?
