Defmt 1.0 is coming very soon. Please raise issues if you see anything that cannot be stabilised forever. There will never be a 2.0!

Dealing with weak symbols and LTO optimizations. Any previous experiences/solutions?

We moved to weak assembly symbols to get rid of unused symbols, but that approach led to errors when LTO enabled.

I just recently became aware of https://github.com/rust-embedded/not-yet-awesome-embedded-rust because of a PR. It seems like we should either take this down or give it some love and updating?
