Key points:

  • Brings together the classic book from Walter Rudin and the engaging lectures of Harvey Mudd Professor Francis Su.
  • How can a student can get the most out of about 30 hours of complex lecture material?
  • Both a reference tool and a study tool.
  • There is a missing component of math courses: fluency. Compare to foreign language or culture. Repeated exposure is needed.
  • "Quizzes" aren't for rote memorization -- they're to make sure you can fluently parse and apply the definitions and theorems.
  • Adaptive: scheduling is based on your past responses, so that things that are difficult for you get the most time.
  • Comprehensive: you will be reviewing material from throughout the course.
