Looking forward to seeing this finished. I had plans to develop a similar blogging system for a forum section on an upcoming project. Would love to implement this in my platform !

Also a suggestion :

You could use repository or gists as storage for the blogs instead of issues since they can get tedious to maintain pretty fast for long term.

We can also use that but they don't have comments and reactions that we need for a blog

@saadpasta this is really a great looking react blog. I've been looking for one and almost decided to build one using gists as @kartik918 suggested. So thank you for this!

Also, you can actually get comments from gists according to this library: http://github-tools.github.io/github/docs/3.2.3/Gist.html
