This is going to sound really dumb, but the one thing keeping me from gaming on Linux is I really rely on macros for a lot of games. Usually because I'd rather have a macro CLICK-THE-SH*T-OUT-OF-SOMETHING rather than wearing out my joints.
Is not supporting macros an explicit design decision? Or is it more of a "I don't personally have a use for it, but I'm not in objection to it"? Because, geez, this seems like the perfect layer to implement such a thing.
And, I'd like an excuse to write some more rust, so I'm asking more or less to see explore how a contribution of this nature would be received.
