Talk Title: Scrolling ASCII Art

Talk Description: Scroll Art is a type of animated ASCII art that is accessible to beginners and a creative outlet for experienced developers. The output of a scroll art program is limited to text, and once printed to the screen it cannot be erased. As the terminal fills up and the text begins to scroll upwards, it creates animated movement. These restrictions compel creativity. Scroll art requires no additional graphics libraries and only basic coding skills. You can see several examples at https://scrollart.org. In this talk, Al Sweigart (author of Automate the Boring Stuff with Python and other programming books) showcases several examples of scroll art along with the principles behind them so that you can get started coding your own textual generative art.
