Project Inactivity

This library is incredibly important to the community.
I'd like to see it become active again.
I started creating pull requests but I cancelled them after seeing that the project has become idle.

I made a fork that addresses several issues with more recent versions of typescript as well as improving the core transformation logic. I've been using it successfully in large projects.

If the original author sees this I'd be happy to see this work make it into the original project, it would just need the package name set back to the original.
