sanity/cli export/import specify projectId

Hi, I am trying to export dataset types from one project to import into another. Both projects are under the same user and same studio codebase.
sanity dataset export production production.tar.gz seems to always export from the same projectId, incidentally not the one set in sanity.json. SANITY_STUDIO_API_PROJECT_ID env variable also doesn't affect this.
Is there a way to specify a projectId for export to use?
I know I can use the endpoint, but that doesn't include assets, which I suppose is why the cli export command exists.
