Hi, I believe the conflict is because you cannot upgrade both % opam install liquidsoap.2.1.4 |

I've jut tried that but it's basically lead me back to 2.0.3-1.
Might I need to update other packages on my system first? |

I have opam is 2.0.5-1 installed from the Ubuntu 20.04 package manager (apt-get). I have been playing around a bit more and I'm wondering if ocaml is the problem because I have 4.08.1 and I can see that I need >=4.12.0 & <5.0.0. I'm not sure if ocaml was installed through the Ubuntu packages as well and that could prevent ocam from being able to upgrade it. I'm not sure how ocaml is supposed to be installed and if it would be a dependancy for opam. I'm only using opam for liquidsoap so another thought that I had is trying to remove all of the packages and starting a fresh with the install. However if ocaml is from the Ubuntu package then it could still cause me a problem. |

I've managed up upgrade opam, which then gave me a sensible error message when trying to upgrade liquidsoap. I've then learnt how to use opam switch to ger ocaml version 4.14.1. Then I could install liquidsoap 2.1.4. Thanks again for your help. The good thing now is I still have the previous liquidsoap installed for a quick rollback if needed :) |

Hi, hopefully someone can advise me. I currently have Liquidsoap 2.0.3-1, confirmed by typing
opam list
. If I runopam update
thenopam upgrade
I get the following message...If I run
opam upgrade liquidsoap
oropam upgrade liquidsoap.2.1.4
oropam install liquidsoap.2.1.4
then I get the following message...Sorry, no solution found: there seems to be a problem with your request.
I've tried removing it and installing it again and I still get version 2.0.3-1. Could someone please advise me on how I can upgrade to the latest version? I have had a few issues with 2.0.3-1 so I'm keen to try 2.1.4. I'm guessing it's something else installed that's holding it back.
My output from
opam list
is as follows (in case it helps)...Thanks in advance, Skillen :)
